Part-Time Accountant/Finance Manager for Non-Profit Foundation (Work From Home)

The Dunstan Wai Foundation is a 5-year old non-profit foundation whose mission is to educate deserving but needy girls in secondary schools in Southern Sudan. The Foundation is seeking a Part Time Finance Manager to help maintain its books of accounts. The part-time position reports to the Board Treasurer. The job entails spending about 2-5 hours monthly since the accounts have very few transactions. The ideal candidate should be a CPA, but a Senior Bookeeper will be considered. In addition to having a CPA, the Finance Manager is expected to be highly enthusiastic about the Foundation's mission. The Foundation is run by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of a Chairman, President, Treasurer, Secretary and several other Directors holding no office. There are an even number of male and female Board Members. The Finance Manager is expected to attend the Foundation's Board Meetings which are held once every two months. and to collaborate with the Treasurer on the production of Monthly and Annual Accounts & Financial Statements; and to support the Treasurer in his interactions with external auditors. The Foundation's Balance Sheet is approximately $100,000.

Experienced K-3 Math Teachers to Help with iPad Math Apps

Experienced K-3 math teachers sought to help with design of iPad application for classroom and home use.
You will provide feedback on the design and implementation of applications and math-related content (to ensure compliance with state and national standards).
We prefer teachers who are teaching math this current school year and who will teach math in the same school next school year. Experience with iPads in the classroom is a bonus; experience at home with iPads is a required. Target dates: June18-August 3, flexible. Hours flexible, 10-30 hours per week, by our agreement. You will work at home most of the time, with periodic face-to-face meetings in the South Bay (San Jose, Campbell). We will communicate daily on the phone/internet and make use of web-based collaboration tools.
