We are an environmental inspection, remediation, and property damage restoration company. Our business involves the assessment of properties to find damage or contaminants, followed by the removal and remediation of those contaminants, if present. The issues we address primarily include water damage, mold, and biohazards (such as trauma scene situations), but also include asbestos, lead, and other environmental hazards that can negatively impact human health or the structural safety and value of properties.

We have several local businesses within our coverage areas around California, Nevada and other states that need to have online content written for them for marketing purposes. This content will be placed on a variety of websites to promote our local companies.

The writing involves a lot of very short pieces that are part of a larger package. These pieces can range from 60 words to 600 words. They are often short descriptions describing the company and its services in our target market and geographic region. 

Other pieces can include articles that discuss topics related to the company, our services, or themes related to the industry, which may range from 800-3,000 words in length.

This is a freelance position; therefore you would be your own operation and work strictly offsite from our office (at-home or otherwise). You would communicate with a representative from our company via email and telephone to be issued assignments as they become available.

General contracting business in North Berkeley is seeking an office manager, beginning part-time and moving to full-time in a couple of months. We have been growing rapidly over the past few years, and need someone who can grow with us. Our offices are located in Renton, WA. APPLICANTS MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA, have a minimum of 1 year of Q&A transcription experience, and, if working from home, must be willing to travel to our office to pick up/drop off tapes Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Allegis is currently seeking part-time EXPERIENCED transcriptionists for our growing team. We offer a flexible, casual, and team work environment with work-at-home opportunities and transcription equipment is provided. Part-time transcriptionists (minimum of 20 hours/week) can work either in the office or at home, with work-from-home new hires required to work in the office for a brief training period and thereafter they must come to the office approximately 2-3 days per week to pick up/drop off tapes. 

Wages are hourly and range from $10.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour to start, depending on skills and experience. All wages are based on a production scale and are reviewed regularly.
