Liability Claims Adjuster. This person would have the ability to work from home
after a week of training out of their regional office. you will be responsible
for handling general liability claims from inception to close.

experience
Experience handling construction accounts - heavy coverage
analysis dealing with tenders from the general contractors
Must have experience in multiple jurisdictions

The
Coder/Analyst reports to the Director, Health Information Management. This
position is responsible for the assignment of ICD-9CM diagnosis and procedure
codes; and as appropriate, CPT4. The position works within a self-managed team
with other coders and coding managers.
Reviews the complete
electronic and paper medical record of discharged patients. Assigns ICD-9CM
diagnosis and procedure codes from documentation in the medical record.
Abstracts coded data
and patient information into the coding abstracting system in use by BIDMC
(information includes attending physician, surgeon, dates of surgery,
disposition, discharge date, and infant birth weight etc.). Uses the AHA
'Coding Clinic for ICD-9CM' for official coding guidelines set forth by the
ICD-9CM Coordination and Maintenance Committee.
Manager - Coding Quality Review (Work From Home in Tennessee )
The Coding
Quality Manager is responsible for assisting in the development, evolution and
implementation of the overall strategy for the Company’s centralized coding
quality operations in the Shared Services Division (SSD). The manager
works with all eight HIM Service Centers (HSCs) to improve the accuracy,
integrity and quality of patient data, to ensure minimal variation in coding
practices and improve the quality of physician documentation within the body of
the medical record to support code assignments. The Coding Quality Manager
manages, directs and coordinates the centralized HSC’s coding quality
monitoring activities. Responsibilities include management of process and
personnel. The Coding Quality Manager plans, assigns and directs the
centralized coding quality monitoring program; actively monitors employee
performance and rewards or disciplines accordingly; addresses complaints and
resolves problems; and actively oversees and manages production and quality
control efforts.
