A working knowledge of criminal law in Massachusetts is critical for this position.
Pay will be on a per blog post/webpage basis and will be commensurate with experience and writing ability. Please include your pay expectation for per page/per post with your email of interest. Each post or webpage usually takes roughly 1 hour to write.
This is an independent contractor position and is not an advertisement for a full or part time employee.
The ideal candidate for the position will be a former assistant district attorney (ADA) or a former committee for public counsel services (CPCS) attorney who has practiced criminal law in MA on a daily basis in the past.
PROJECT LAUNCH PHASE
Establish new client documentation. Secure Letters Of Agreement. Track retainer payments.
Schedule potential contractors and vendors.
Document preliminary budgets and design plans.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE
Establish workflow milestones and track progress vs. priorities.
Solicit quotes based on designer specifications from suppliers of furniture, lighting, rugs, fabrics, window treatments, wall coverings, cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile, kitchen / bath fittings, etc.
Submit paperwork to open new supplier accounts.
Traffic product samples (and occasionally pick up) between suppliers, designer and clients. Organize/maintain samples library.

WHO WOULD BE A GOOD FIT:
Qualified candidates must either be currently enrolled in college or have a degree.
Marketing, writing, design, development and social media skills are helpful to understand what our company does. If you're a foodie and know the restaurant scene that is a major plus.
Basic compensation is $11-15/hour, plus appointment setting bonus and commission. Clear expectations will be set for number of dials, conversations, and appointments per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Outbound calling (from tickler file/existing house list)
• Follow up to direct mail
• Obtaining reservations for seminars
• Cold list cleaning and farming
• Keeping database and tickler file up to date
• Follow up to canvassing visits
