The Part-Time Technical Support Specialist is responsible for supporting, and ensuring a positive user experience in 2U programs by providing proactive, comprehensive and exceptional customer service.
This position is the critical “first line of defense” in executing 2U’s expected white glove service level for its students, graduates and faculty.  The Technical Support Specialist takes incoming calls from enrolled students and faculty who need technical assistance.  They will also actively monitor and support live classroom sessions, assist with new hire training/onboarding, and resolve/escalate all incoming cases.  The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to:

As a City Specialist, you will respond to customer requests which come in via phone, e-mail and chat, and provide personalized solutions within specific timeframes. While your work will tend to be focused on a specialized category or destination, requests can range across categories. You will also help cultivate partner relationships in vertical industries which are central to providing the access customers expect from a concierge service. 
Our Concierge Team has a wealth of resources at their disposal (e.g. team members, curated content, industry partners, and proprietary knowledge system), and as a City Specialist, you will provide them a virtual experience and contacts in Los Angeles that create the “insider experience” our members are looking for.  Miami, Las vegas also need city specialists 

Requirements:
• Ability to consistently commit to working a minimum of 15 hours per week, with evening and weekend availability. This is not a seasonal job; we ask for a minimum eight month commitment. 
• Ability to work independently and learn company policies/teaching approaches through self-paced, online trainings.
• Native English speaker with either an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any field.
• TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification a plus, but also can be earned on the job.
• Excellent cultural awareness, communication and motivational skills, as well as a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and support
• Access to a personal computer and stable internet connection 

The Physician Billing Coder an experienced production coder validating appropriate coding for physician services. This includes analyzing/abstracting and correcting billing errors due to incorrect use of codes or charges through CPT/HCPC, ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 additions/deletions/revisions. Identifies and communicates areas for improvement for providers, clinical departments and cross-functional revenue cycle departments.
Identify areas of improvement for providers to educate and revise billing practices with outpatient/inpatient primary care and some specialty care; and/or hospital professional charges in order to achieve maximum reimbursement
Validate appropriate coding for physician services. This includes analyzing and correcting billing errors due to incorrect use of codes or charges through CPT/HCPC, ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 additions/deletions/revisions
Provide support for the physician business office on billing problems that delay payment due to coding or incorrect use of charges
Research denial of payment due to incorrect use of codes, the lack of codes or inappropriate charges to assure supporting documentation is present for resubmission of the corrected claim
Work closely with supervisors and trainers to identify and escalate trends to Physician Business Office leadership
Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to streamline workflows to maximize the team’s effectiveness and efficiency
