Knowledge of at least one templating system (Google Closure Templates, Mustache, Pure, etc.) is a huge plus. If you don't know the latest tinker toys, but have built that kind of thing from scratch, we can't wait to hear your battle-stories. 


You should understand how to write single-page applications, organize and compartmentalize JS code, interact with REST endpoints, and make JavaScript applications work across modern browsers. Your responsibilities will include front-end architecture and leading best practices.

If you're great with grammar, are a methodical person, and good on the computer, we need people to listen to audio and transcribe what they hear. 

You work at home on your own schedule. 

The work is broken into individual audio clips or 'utterances' that you would hear from someone using talk-to-text. An utterance might be something short, like 'Call Mom', or it could be the address of a store, or a Google search, or one side of a spoken text message. The length of these utterances tends to average out. Every batch of 50 utterances is referred to as a 'bundle'. 

Transcription is compensated at a rate of $2.70 per 'bundle' (50 'utterances'). But if you have time and want to earn more, the rate increases for everything you do over 50 bundles in a week. This is not something you have to do full time; we are flexible - we just expect a certain minimum commitment each week. 

Great typing skill isn't necessary; the key is accuracy in writing things down correctly, and the work can be challenging.

I want to start tracking each month for my readers how much money I am making at home doing call center work and some of my other gigs.   Due to Non disclosure agreements I signed  I am not comfortable in saying which call centers I am working making  this money. 

Call Center work I track by the number of hours I am logged in and taking calls.   Some call centers pay a flat hourly rate and some pay only on sales and other pay per talk time.  

It has been a crazy month and  my update is later than I had hope.  June was an ok month kids got out of school.  I plan this that is why my earnings I work harder and more hours while the kids are at school.   My goal during the summer months June, July and August is $1000. I was just shy of that this month.
