8 Downsides of telecommuting

While everyones thinks that working at home can be a dream opportunity, it is often not. It is hard to manage your time and find that work-family-life balance.

As a person who has worked at home as indepedent contractor for 5 years many of the downsides have happened to me at one point or another. The biggest one was being lonely during the day especially since the kids are at school now. However I make sure I get some adult interaction in each day.
