Through daily consultations with physicians, employers and injured workers, you will coordinate medical services while facilitating the rehabilitation process. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical case management process. Works as an intermediary between carriers, attorneys, medical care providers, employers and employees to ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services and a medically rehabilitated individual who is ready to return to an optimal level of work and functioning.
REQUIREMENTS: Diploma, Associate or Bachelors degree in nursing required. 2+ years clinical nursing experience required. Case Management and/or Workers’ compensation-related experience preferred. Registered nurse with current, valid state licensure required and one of the following credentials: CCM, CRRN, CDMS or COHN. Spanish-speaking A PLUS!!
