In addition, to phone and admin work, one of the things that I do on a regular basis is do internet surveys.  I use this as my pocket change and will use it to pay for Christmas or  save up for a Disney vacation.  like we went on  back in 2013.   
In order to earn money by completing surveys you must meet the criteria for the specific survey. Many companies will require an unpaid screener survey during registration. This information is used to select participants for specific product and service surveys. The key is to have enough of your information on file for the company to know you fit their demographic and extend the offer to you.
Watch Out for Scams
Be cautious. Although being paid for taking surveys is legitimate, there are some that are out to scam and make a quick buck on the hopes of others. Simply follow these rules:
  • Never pay up front.
  • Never pay a membership fee.
  • Never give out personal information like your social security number, credit card or bank account number.
  • Read the terms and conditions.
  • Ensure cash  or gift cards are  the payment method.
Legitimate Companies Follow These Guidelines:

The first place to start is your current and former employers. If you are currently working or have worked for someone, let them know about your company and what you are doing. 2. Job Boards and Search Engines,, and are examples of job boards. and are examples of search engines. You can use both to find clients who are looking for help by using specific keywords. Keywords are what you type in when you are searching for something on the internet. The more specific your keyword is, the more relevant the results will be. For example, a generic keyword like "work at home" will more than likely return a lot of scams. Most legitimate companies don't post job leads using those phrases. Here is an example list of keywords you can use when searching for clients.

You can also browse some freelance job sites like Flexjobs and Upwork . These sites allow freelancers to bid on projects posted by individuals or companies. If your bid is accepted you will be awarded the project. Most of these projects are short-term, but are a great way to build your clientele and your portfolio.

There are also some free work-at-home websites that you can use to find clients. This has its pros and cons. Most of the time the job leads are unresearched, limited, and old. Also you can be sure that they have been applied to many times by others seeking work at home jobs. The upside is that someone has kindly searched for and posted these job leads for you. You will still need to research these job leads for legitimacy.

Well...not literally in your neighborhood, but you know what I mean. In other words, in the area you live. Why not have some flyers made and pass them out to local vendors? You can also have them posted in local grocery stores. Have some business cards made and leave them with local business owners and managers.
Have your business cards handy to pass out when you meet people. This is a good networking strategy as well. Be prepared to explain what you do when someone asks. I remember when I started my Virtual Assistant Business people would ask me what I do and I found it hard to explain. So be prepared and keep it simple.
7. Networking and Word of Mouth
Networking and word of mouth is an excellent way to get your name and company out there. Get to know fellow Virtual Assistants. Sometimes they will have an overflow of work and will subcontract or outsource the work to another Virtual Assistant (VA).
Joining associations and organizations is another way to network. There are several organizations out there just for VAs. Some VAs have found success in locating clients by joining their local Chamber of Commerce.

Provide support for the physician business office on billing problems that delay payment due to coding or incorrect use of charges
Research denial of payment due to incorrect use of codes, the lack of codes or inappropriate charges to assure supporting documentation is present for resubmission of the corrected claim
Work closely with supervisors and trainers to identify and escalate trends to Physician Business Office leadership
Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to streamline workflows to maximize the team’s effectiveness and efficiency

March 2015 work at home job income report

I  get a lot of questions about am I am really making money online. I think it is important that you can make money while working at home without  MLM or direct sales. 

I want to start tracking each month for my readers how much money I am making at home doing call center work and some of my other gigs.   Due to Non disclosure agreements I signed  I am not comfortable in saying which call centers I am working making  this money. 

Call Center work I track by the number of hours I am logged in and taking calls.   Some call centers pay a flat hourly rate and some pay only on sales and other pay per talk time.  

During March  I focused on getting back into phone work. After a   I made sure that I did 20 hours a week.  I gave myself a schedule and worked some overnight hours to make sure I did it.  Coffee helps!!   

My husband and I have also started gotten into a bit of credit card debt so I need to focus on getting that paid off.   April I will try to hit 80 hours a week it will be tough since my kids are n spring break Easter week.
