'Work at home' scams on the rise

The U.S. Postal Service warned local customers Tuesday that "Work at Home' scams jobs that sound too convenient and too profitable to be true are fraudulent and on the rise.
The phony job opportunities promise to pay big money even $1,000 per day for services like stuffing envelopes or medical billing. And people from all walks of life, the elderly, teens and the affluent, are becoming victims, said postal service Consumer Affairs manager Stacia Crane
