How to make additional money while at work at home phone job

My primary work at home job is a inbound  call center agent. I do some other jobs times to time when I can’t do phone or in between phone calls to keep me busy.

Web Based Tasks-

My favorite of all the mini task sites is Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, or mturk for short. If you follow along with forums like turkernation then you can keep up with the best paying tasks available and make some decent money. In fact, there are some people who make a fair living just working mturk!

Other task sites include

http://clickworker.com/
http://shorttask.com/ Research, Data Entry, Writing Design
http://microtask.com/ Mainly Digitizing
http://samasource.org/ non-profit, content moderation, digitization, data entry, Data Mining and Enrichment, Business Listing Verification
http://cloudcrowd.com/ "CloudCrowd provides Turk functionality and adds workflow functionality and innate quality control"
http://www.datadiscoverers.com/ data collection
http://www.mobileworks.com/ quality through exclusivity

Surveys-

I have done many surveys over the year.  Some page in cash and some of in gift certificate rewards. I was able to pay most of my Christmas last year with using the rewards

Some of my favorite survey sites:
National Consumer panel  (same company that does the tv ratings)
MySurvey
Swagbucks

Forum Postings-

Postloop is one of the highest suggested places to make extra money by being social in online forums. They pay quickly with a minimum cash out of only five dollars.

Freelance Writing

Places like Textbroker, MediaPiston or The Content Authority are great  ways to increase your hourly rate when working a slow phone job.  Real writing jobs is a great resource to find writing jobs.

General Transcription at Quicktate-

I usually don’t do this while taking phone calls but it is great during the summer months when the kids are out of school. I can do a couple of when the kids are up and about and don’t need to work about them making background noise.

ChaCha

I don’t do this as much as I used to. This was my primary backup from the phones for a long time.  You answer questions that people text into ChaCha.  They have really dropped in pay so decide it even worth it.

Data Entry with KeyforCash-
KeyforCash is a data entry company. One of the few that are actually easy to get into and truly legit. However, keyforcash doesn’t pay very well at all, but when using it as a filler it is fun and easy!

Wow there are some nice ideas. If you are working in a call center, do you have access to the cloud from home? I want to start in a call center too, and read some articles. An i found this page, so is it possible to work from home if I'm going to work in a cloud-computing call center, or do I have to stay in the office? Would be great if you have some information. Lisa

I do work in the "cloud" as a call center rep at my own house.

I primarily work for liveops but there are a number of call centers that hire http://wahjobs.blogspot.com/2004/12/work-at-home-phone-jobs.html
