NOW HIRING – Guest Service Associates who will provide Hyatt guests with exceptional customer service throughout the inbound reservation process. Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, and have the aptitude and ability to successfully perform in a sales role, in union with a high degree of customer service orientation. A Guest Service Associate must multi-task (talk, type, search multiple screens) without impact to the guest. Must be computer savvy and have the ability to type and utilize keyboard functions to navigate multiple programs and screens quickly and accurately.

  • Position is highly customer service focused. Associates are to respond to our guests in a friendly, timely and attentive manner while meeting Hyatt’s standard of care in every interaction.

This is a Home Agent Position.    You will work from home within 90 days after completing training.  You must provide a quiet work space, desk/chair, Internet connection and phone line. We provide the equipment.
 
This is a Day Training Class Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM M-F for 4 weeks in Omaha Nebraska   You MUST be able to attend all training classes.  There are NO EXCUSED ABSENCES for Training.
 
Must be able to work weekends which could include Saturday and Sunday.
 
Must be able to work either a Monday or a Friday shift.
 
You must be available for schedules up to 2:30 AM every day that you are scheduled.  Most hours available WILL be evening hours u to 0230 AM.
You will be required to work on holidays.
 
Our base wage is $9 per hour.  After 90 days you will be increased to $9.25 per hour.  Yearly Merit Increases and many opportunities for advancement.
(After training, hours after 6:00 p.m. qualify for shift differentials.  You can earn up to $12.00 per hour.  Also you are eligible for performance bonus after training.)
 
You must live within a 50 mile radius of the reservation center.  We are not offering remote agent positions at this time
 
Job Summary
 
      Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. Verify availability of room type and rate. Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers. Accommodate and document special requests. Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations. Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue. Input and access data in reservation system. Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system. Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
 
     Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

What are we looking for?

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Minimum 1 year steady job history in a customer oriented and/or sales role
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a role requiring you to work well with people, negotiate, overcome objections, and/or upsell/cross sell
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, including the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
  • Computer proficiency, including ability to easily navigate and toggle between multiple screens,  talk and type at the same time, and troubleshoot basic computer issues
  • Ability to sit for 4 hours taking back to back inbound calls
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese)

Required Job Schedule Requirements:                      
  • In this work at home position you be able to choose from a variety of Full Time schedules.  Schedules will include weekend hours and some holidays.

Jetblue airline work at home call center job

Jet Blue airlines,has a different way of handling its reservations. Agents go to a monthly meeting at the Salt Lake City office, but otherwise they do all of their customer contact and flight reservations calls while working in the privacy of their own home. Reservations agents are required to work in a quiet and non-distracting environment, including no interruptions from small children or other family members. Create a separate area for your work space, as this needs to be an office environment



Tasks
The Reservations Crew is charged with providing exceptional customer
service through one-on-one Customer telephone contact to schedule air
travel on JetBlue Airways flights. The Reservations Team must meet
Customer needs through prompt response times to inquiries,
registrations, and other general Customer requests. The Reservations
Crew must be flexible and able to work at any time, must possess
effective problem solving skills, must consistently provide exceptional
customer service, and must be willing and able to contribute to the
development of a growing team environment. After initial training has
been successfully completed, Crewmembers will take reservations from
home.
Essential Functions:
* Handle calls regarding general information about airline travel on
